Position Overview & Specifications

ICMS Business Analyst

Kew is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Kew Science Digital Revolution Team (Priority 3) to support the implementation of our Integrated Collections Management System (ICMS). Building on the work to date, this role will lead on the integrating the following collections: Economic Botany, Illustrations & Artefacts, Living Collections, Slide collections. The role will include providing an oversight on all ongoing enhancement and corrective actions and working closely with Kew Science system developers, our Supplier and the ICMS Team.

Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, the successful candidate will have significant experience in collating and interpreting business requirements from end users, and proven experience of end-to-end system implementation experience. The candidate will be a pro-active communicator, with ability to work on own initiative and deliver effectively within a Team, working closely to tight deadlines.

This is an exciting career opportunity to play an important part in delivering a key strategic priority as part of the £29.3m Digitisation Project for Kew. This project will ensure our collections of over 260 years of scientific exploration are globally accessible, placing them at the centre of efforts to combat urgent global challenges such as biodiversity decline, habitat degradation, climate change and human health.

This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

The salary will be £40,301 - £47,675 per annum pro-rata, depending on skills and experience.
