Software Developer Apprentice

A web design agency is looking for a talented and creative individual who will be responsible for working as part of a team with other like-minded people, managing complex web-based tools and software.

Key Duties

• Take ownership of developing new features and writing and maintaining code
• Deliver solutions against written business requirements and technical specification documents as directed
• Investigate, analyse and document reported defects
• Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
• Create, document and implement unit test plans, scripts and test harnesses
• Backend duties – Using Laravell frameworks – Manage user credentials and setting up user details.
• Building new functionality for website both new business and existing clients.
• Testing for bugs

About you

To be a Software Developer Apprentice you will need to be passionate about software development with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C, 4-9) including Maths and English.

This 23-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £17,000. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.

Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 4 qualifications in Software Development.
