Position Overview & Specifications
To provide a proactive service to older women and women with additional needs (disabilities) who present with homelessness and who have been assessed as being at risk of domestic violence and abuse (intimate partner and/or familial).
To provide a service that is sensitive to the needs of women who face additional barriers and obstacles to reporting/accessing services including women from Black, Asian, minority ethnic and refugee communities, LGBT women, women who are disabled, learning disabilities, chronically ill and/or otherwise vulnerable and/or intimidated, women with mental health issues or due to their age.
