Position Summary

We pride ourselves on the food we cook from scratch every day, from our famous Jolly Nice Burger to our seasonal wild garlic pesto, utilising some of the best ingredients available to us, mostly produced by local farmers, producers and artisans.

As a member of the Chef team your primary focus will be delicious customer experience, delivering an exceptional product, working efficiently at speed, taking great care of your area and ensuring our customers can’t wait to return.

We have won many awards and gained many loyal customers over the years and It will be your responsibility to uphold the reputation that we have spent almost a decade earning.

We have recently heavily invested in a state of the art kitchen within our new Drive Through where you and your team will be based, futureproofing the business and providing an exciting opportunity to enjoy some of the best kitchen equipment on the market.

This role is a high energy one that delivers fantastic customer service to ensure everyone leaves happy, whether it’s a relaxed weekday morning or a fast paced Saturday afternoon. Supporting and assisting your team to the best of your capabilities will be essential during every shift and will help create a healthy work environment that everyone can thrive in.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the Cook Line, producing uncompromising delicious food at a fast pace.
• Learn our menu inside out, making consistent products with efficient and accurate execution.
• Help with production of Jolly Nice products to supply our Farm Shop
• Learn and teach others the provenance of our ingredients, taking care to make the most of the fantastic produce that we provide.
• Assist the team in daily opening and closing operations.
• Follow systems to uphold presentation, cleanliness and upkeep of the department.
• Work with our team to keep all standards high and help make improvements.
• Complete daily paperwork and checks, ensuring we are compliant with legal requirements.
• Help minimise food waste with stock rotation, having respect for and taking great care of our products.

Part-time hours: 24 - 45 per week

Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
