Quality Control Team Leader

JMC are working with a leading Engineering company based in Chelmsford looking to recruit a new Quality Control team leader to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Chelmsford. 39 hours per week, Monday- Thursday.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to provide leadership to the Quality Control Inspection department, ensuring all work carried out is to the required standards and meets customer specifications.

Other duties involve:

• Inspection of First off components
• Stage and Final Inspection of treated components
• Ensuring all work carried out is within customer and industry specifications.
• First Article Inspection to AS9102 requirements
• Management of MRB system (Q-Pulse)
• Supervision of inspection staff
• Management of all customer quality concerns

Training will be provided on Q- Pulse and ERP systems where needed.

Skills and experience required

In order to be successful in this role the will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Previous technical experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of problem-solving techniques
• Strong communication skills
• Right to live and work in the UK
