Insurance Consultant

The role

We’re now looking for a motivated Insurance Consultant based from our Swindon office and working on our Renewals (Personal Lines), to join the Jensten Group. This is an exciting time to join our business and the successful candidate can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general. We are looking for a driven salesperson who can display strong customer service skills, has good attention to detail and has ideally worked in a similar role previously. And if you already have an Insurance background - then even better! Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:

• Working within the Renewals team with the aim of maximising sales and client retention.
• Responsible for delivering great customer service and administering insurance policies.
• Responsible for hitting and exceeding realistic targets.
• Strong customer service skills, communicating clearly and building relationships.
• Working in a fast paced and target driven environment.

About you

As one of our Insurance Consultants, you’ll be given full training & support and the opportunity to go on and gain relevant qualifications such as Cert CII to become a qualified Insurance professional. There will be the requirement to work every other Saturday- but only half a day, and you’ll get this time back during the week. You will also be able to earn a commission bonus (on realistic achievable targets) which is uncapped! You will be or have:

• Great customer service and communication skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance and sales
• Worked in a similar role previously (telephone and face-2-face sales experience)
• Good attention to detail and can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin
• Insurance background- especially in Personal Lines such as Home or Motor (ideally)
