Drivers Mate

Jarrold Home Delivery is seeking an energetic and reliable Drivers Mate, to join our team. In this role, the Drivers Mate will be responsible for assisting the driver in the safe and efficient delivery of goods to customers' homes.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods from the delivery van.

- Accompany the driver on delivery runs and ensure all items are delivered safely and on time.

- Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

- Help resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the delivery process.

Requirements:

- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.

- Good communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work well in a team.

- Valid driver's license is an advantage but not essential.

- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

This is a full-time position, working 50 hours over 5 days per week.

During our busiest periods this may include weekend working and/or slightly different working pattern, so the ability to be flexible is essential for this role.
