Nursery Manager for a boutique style setting

Are you ready to manage a BRAND NEW boutique style high street nursery? If so then here's a little more about us..... We are opening our sister nursery in June 2023 which will care for 34 children from when they are 'confident walkers' through to when they embark upon their journey to school. Curiosity Approach inspired we will provide a homely, personal and very special nursery environment. Our outdoor space will be the local forests, parks and other green spaces therefore a love of being outside is a must. We are looking for someone who wants to take full ownership of this role and does not want to be micro managed with a 'one shoe fits all approach'. We appreciate and respect that every nursery is different and we value the experience of someone who wants to create something magical with Area Manager support when and where appropriate. A positive approach with exceptional communication skills is paramount, building wonderful relationships with our children, staff and parents. A very good understanding of the EYFS (2021) is required and strong knowledge of all aspects of safeguarding. We provide an in house training platform.

There is an option to work 4 full days of 7:30-18:30 or 5 days of shifts e.g 07:30-17:00, 8:00-17:30. We offer a very competitive discount on childcare. Our holiday package offers you 20 days pro rata, plus bank holidays that fall on your work days and also any days between Christmas and New year that you would have otherwise work.

The role will involve all aspects of managing a nursery from marketing and recruitment through to occupancy and all that supports a rich curriculum. A minimum of a full and relevant level 3 qualification in childcare is a requirement.
