Production Assistant

Industrial Fragrances Ltd is a fast-growing fragrance supplier, producing products for use in fragranced candles, industrial cleaners, car-cleaning applications, and similar end uses.

• We require a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our expanding fragrance production team. Using our in-house computerised production system, you will be weighing and mixing liquid and powdered chemicals according to set specifications.
• Concentration and accuracy are paramount due to the variety of products produced. You will be required to pack products, assemble pallets, load and unload vehicles, and keep production areas clean and tidy. Fork lift, hygiene and health & safety training will be given as necessary, although a fork lift license would be desirable.
• The ability to work within a small team across a range of disciplines is essential.
• The successful applicant should not have any known chemical allergies or be asthmatic, where the asthma is caused or antagonised by chemicals.
• This role would also suit an enthusiastic and committed individual looking to start their career in the chemical industry.

This post is for 35 hours a week. Successful applicants will be required to lift up to 25kg packs on a regular basis.

Industrial Fragrances Ltd is an employee owned company. All employees with more than one year's service are entitled to an annual tax-free bonus of up to £3600.
