Temp leading to Perm, average transition around 20 weeks. Some sooner.

* Brackmills Industrial Estate, NN4

* PPT/LLOP work primarily

Fixed Shifts:

* 06.00-1400 AM shift Monday-Friday

* 14.00-22.00pm PM shift Monday-Friday

* 22.00am -0600pm Night Shift Sunday-Thursday

* 3 breaks for 8 hours shift - 2 paid!

We are working in partnership with a leading pharmaceutical firm to supply Logistics staff to their National Distribution Centre. We are recruiting for Temporary to Permanent, Warehouse Operatives. Due to the work they do with the NHS they are always busy, which is refreshing in a period of uncertainty. We have several positions to fulfil and our client wants people who want to develop and progress within the business.

The detail, these are the bits we need you to be able to do. If not, we may have more suitable opportunities for you elsewhere.

• Shifts patterns are fixed, there are no rotations and there are no compromise unfortunately, but it’s important we manage your expectations.
• You must have experience on either a Forklift or PPT/LLOP/P20 is essential (it might also help if you can drive a vehicle). Full training and refreshers will be provided but due to the fast-paced nature of the business it’s important you are a competent driver.
• Only a few, but some products can weigh up to 25kg. If are unable to work in a fast paced, manual working environment this role isn’t for you.
• Pay parity from day one, which is unheard of in Northampton. No waiting for 12 weeks.
• Overtime is paid at double time at the weekends and for any unsociable hours worked.

You will be conducting the following duties:

• Picking Items for dispatch in a timely, accurate manner
• Packaging Items for dispatch to a high-quality standard
• Using a hand scanner to ensure correct stock is dispatched to the correct customer.
• Using a pallet truck or LLOP to pick heavier items from the grid.
• Using voice picking to be guided to locations.
• Ensuring all health and safety requirements are always met.
• Keeping your work area clean and safe

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm.

Salary:

AM Shift £12.08-£23.00 per hour

PM Shift £12.66-£23.00 per hour

Night Shift £13.96-£23.00 per hour
