Self Employed Labourer (Based in London)

CSCS CARD REQUIRED: Our Service team are looking for unskilled/skilled labour to work in London. IMI Ltd primarily works in metalwork and woodwork manufacture and installation for the elevator and escalator industry along with basic logistics and labour were required.

We are looking for reliable labourers for general logistics work moving elevator materials along with other company products. (working supervisors/gangers welcome).

We are also looking for secondary steel fixers, skilled workers to join our growing company (slinger/signaller ticket preferable but not essential). The ability to read technical drawings is a must as you’ll be working in small teams in the lift shafts predominantly.

following instructions precisely, double-checking your own work, while maintaining high standards of safety and quality are all important aspects also.

Job depending you will be required to undertake training (which IMI pay for), which will allow you to access and work on some of the sites (for example EOR 202 lift access/egress, safety harness, etc.)

You will report directly to your Project Manager, but where required you will work closely with the Surveyors and Production Manager.

· Previous experience on a construction site is preferable, metalwork or woodwork are a bonus

· Previous experience in working in the lift/escalator industry is preferable but not essential

· EOR 202/204 is preferable but not essential as training can be provided

· Ability to work on your feet all day

· Some lifting will be required, so a reasonable physical capability is expected

Working at hight preferable but training can be given if required.

Job Types: Self Employed

Wage: £90 - £140 P/D depending on experience

Schedule: Monday – Friday 0800-1630
