We have multiple positions available for Support Workers. We are hiring full-time, part-time and shift workers to join our team. The Support Worker will be responsible for helping disabled people to perform day-to-day tasks independently and assisting in the direct care of our residents. The Support Worker will work closely with the care team to ensure that each individual's needs are met during the day.

Responsibilities:

• Comfort, illuminate and generally look after the residents' needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, carers, family and other staff.
• Get to know the patients on a personal basis and care for them accordingly.
• Answer telephones, greet visitors and deal with enquiries from all areas of the home.
• Promote therapeutic activities in order to engage with patients.
• Plan individualised regimes of activity according to resident's preferences and abilities.
• Keep notes of all care observations.
• Practice infection control methods and safe medication handling procedures in order to prevent cross-contamination.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22 per week

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
