Position Overview & Specifications

Role

IFX is on the lookout for a People and Culture Associate, reporting directly into the People and Culture Manager. You will focus on key HR elements, such as system administrator for the HRIS, acting as the first point of contact for all HR queries, supporting with recruitment, managing onboarding administration and plenty more. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and departments, whilst taking instruction from the Company Secretary and General Counsel from time to time. You will have an opportunity to get involved in exciting projects and create/implement new processes and initiatives. You will drive company culture, social events and manage budgets accordingly, all with the support of an experienced People & Culture Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Provide regular reporting to the People and Culture Manager as required
  • Manage recruitment administration including scheduling interviews, pre-employment checks, liaising with agencies and general candidate care
  • Generate HR documentation, including contracts of employment, contract variations, offer letters etc.
  • Manage HRIS and data input
  • Be a HR systems champion to coordinate processes connected to the employee lifecycle, supporting managers and staff to complete their actions and update records in a timely manner
  • Act as a first point of contact for all HR related queries
  • Administer global payroll on a monthly basis
  • Assist with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits
  • Comply with data protection laws and UK employment legislation in all situations with a high respect for confidentiality

Competencies & Experience:

  • CIPD (level 3) qualified
  • Demonstrate good HR knowledge and have prior experience working within a HR environment
  • Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills
  • Have the ability to show empathy and influence decision making
  • A collaborative approach to working with others and committed to an inclusive environment
  • A logical thinker who enjoys finding solutions and driving continuous improvement
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to maintain employee confidentiality
