About The Company :

My Client is one of the UK longest established nationwide Flooring contractors, having been established over 40 years they have become pioneers in in the application of Laser Screed Technology to industrial floor slab construction. The client specialises in providing design and build solutions to every clients specific flooring requirements.

Due to recent company growth my client is looking for a new trainee / junior quantity surveyor to join their small Leeds team. This will be a mainly office-based role but site visits will be required on occasion. This role is suitable for someone who has recently completed an apprenticeship within a similar construction role.

Main Duties :

Daily tasks will change depending on the day and the project but can consist of:

• Raising monthly applications and Invoices for works, jobs range between £20k – £15M.

• Variations relating to ongoing projects.

• Chasing retention payments.

• Site re-measures.

• Estimating and ordering of materials.

• Creating RAMS for successful projects.

• Ordering Plant and off hiring of plant

Requirements :

· HNC / HND level 3 course.

· Construction
