The role of the Support Organiser is to assist in the delivery of Hull City Councils Active Recovery Service providing care and support to individuals in their own homes. The role is challenging yet very rewarding and is supportive of the completion of community care assessments and effective care planning to meet individual need, promoting and maintaining independence enabling people to remain in their own homes.

The aim of our service is to enable individuals to remain as independent as possible with minimum long-term support, in line with the Council’s vision, "a life not a service".

The post holder will lead a team of Support Assistants to work in partnership with other agencies to ensure services are delivered in accordance with Care Quality Commission requirements and support National Strategic Frameworks and local objectives for performance.

You will receive mandatory and statutory training as part of your induction, and this will continue throughout your employment with numerous learning and development opportunities being made available to you over time.

The 32 hour posts are day's and the 20 hour post is nights.
