Position Overview & Specifications

The Big Picture

As a Store Person, you will despatch, receiving, handling, storage and protection of parts to provide on-time delivery of material to customers, both internal and external.
What Needs To Be Done?
  • Deliver required materials to customers (internal and external) in a timely manner by following guidelines and standards.
  • Deliver excellence through “Right First Time” pick of materials.
  • Comply with Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 by working to the highest quality standards.
  • Maintain audit and specification requirements by adhering to Works Standard Instruction guidelines and standard work procedures.
  • Support Lean principles by optimising efficiencies through reduction of costs & improvement of quality and delivery.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by complying with Company Environmental Health & Safety
  • Procedures.
  • Completion of compressor and parts delivery by material preservation, packing and minor assembly functions.
  • Support supply chain integrity by ensuring inventory accuracy.

  • Fork Lift Truck Certification
  • Lifting & Slinging Certification
  • Proven Material handling
  • Computer literate - Basic Inventory control
  • Spray painting and spray washing
Desirable skills, knowledge & behaviours
  • Flexibility
  • Lean Manufacturing skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and meet delivery deadlines
