We are in need of a knowledgeable, engaging, and experienced bartender to join us, providing our guests with first-class service in our Private Members Club

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAY TO DAY?

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Restaurant’s standard drink recipes
  • Learns the names and personally recognize our regulars.
  • Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system
  • Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks, appetizers for bar patrons
  • Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
  • Clear and reset tables in bar area
  • Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
  • Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
  • Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the restaurant manager
  • Assist in the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
  • Meeting and greeting our guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable
  • Actively training floor staff and barbacks by sharing your exceptional cocktail knowledge
  • Working as a team player at all times
  • Ensuring the bar, and bar area are kept looking pristine
  • Occasionally helping other areas of the business as requested
  • Making sure all checklists and cleaning rotas are adhered to

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU?

  • Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes
  • Attention to detail

  • The ability to attend and undertake all required training
  • A passion for hosting and hospitality
  • Confident communication skills
  • Maintain and develop an excellent working knowledge of classic cocktails and our menu cocktails
  • Be punctual, reliable and trustworthy
  • Work with a sense of urgency and a “can do” attitude.
  • Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
  • Communicate any problems or issues with the other bartenders to ensure the smooth running of the bar service
  • Ultimately, communicate any issues you cannot solve amongst yourselves to the Bar Manager or Head Bartender as appropriate, so they can be dealt with.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 35 per week

Salary: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
