Position Overview & Specifications
We offer a £250 bonus after the qualifying period.
You will be working alongside the warehouse supervisor in our busy warehouse, receiving ingredients and packaging deliveries, and dispatching finished products. You will be logging deliveries and putting the goods away. This requires you to be organised and methodical.
You will be deboxing and debagging ingredients (taking them out of their original packaging) whilst carrying out quality checks on the ingredients, ready for the bakers to use. In the other end, you will be labelling and dispatching our finished products, matching up order numbers and shipping labels, and loading the goods onto the lorries.
You will be working with the warehouse supervisor, the production planner, the logistics team so you will have contact with a number of people on a daily basis. It is a nice small team and you will be a valued member of it. There is a fair amount of manual handling so you will need to be in good physical health. You must also have good attention to details, as you will be handling batch numbers and shipping documents, and quality check materials. - Responsible for dispatches, goods received, returns, stock count, stock rotation, and ensuring the efficient running of the warehouse
- Accuracy and organisational skills are key
- Punctual, reliable and have a good attendance record
- Able to work under pressure and always a can do attitude
- Fluent English
- Must be physically fit
- Forklift licence

We are currently recruiting a motivated warehouse operative to work in our award winning, quality accredited bakery in Park Royal (5 minute walk from Harlesden station).
