Care Assistant - Wantage & Grove

Home Instead are a home-care service supporting our community to live well at home, covering areas around Swindon and the Vale of White Horse.

We are rated OUTSTANDING by CQC and have been caring around the local area for 10 years.

New to care? Or an experienced Care Assistant?

We are looking for team members to support our clients around the Vale of White Horse area including Wantage, Grove, Faringdon, Stanford-in-the-Vale and Uffington.

We support our wonderful clients in their own homes! Our Care Assistant role includes preparing fresh meals, administering medication, helping to appointments, supporting with personal care and more.

We have a wide range of opportunities and working patterns to suit you, including part-time and full-time roles (depending on availability and location).

Here's what we offer!

• £12.25 per hour weekdays & £13.25 per hour for weekends
• Bank Holiday pay rate of £24.50 per hour
• Paid travel time at £10.50 per hour
• Paid mileage @ 35p a mile
• Variety of contracts available, part-time or full-time hours
• Paid training
• Paid Enhanced DBS prior to joining
• Free Blue Light Card
• ‘Refer a friend’ rewards enabling you earn £££ for your friends joining us
• Access to our EarlyPay scheme to enable withdrawals of pay before payday

There are only a few requirements from us...

• A full driving licence and access to a car (preferred)
• Aged 18 or over
