Hotel Night Porter

Holdsworth House Hotel is a privately owned, award winning hotel that has been operating for over 50 years. We are renowned for the levels of service and quality we offer and have a very proud tradition of developing people as exceptional members of our team and as progressing them as individuals.
With 36 guest bedrooms, a 2 rosette AA-rated restaurant and regarded as one of the top wedding venues in Yorkshire we are now looking to add to our night team.
Set in 3 acres of grounds in North Halifax, close Bradford, Leeds and North Yorkshire we have excellent travel links for both locals and commuters.

The Role – Night Porter

You will be the first point of contact for guests throughout the night to our Award Winning Hotel providing an efficient and courteous service at all times. A helpful and hardworking attitude is key.
You will be responsible for the safety and security of the building during the evening, required to assist guests with any enquiries as well as the preparation of the business for the following days’ activities.

The role requires someone to be a keen self-motivator and the ability to be able to manage time effectively to complete all tasks.

Being able to multi-task and prioritise are key elements in any hospitality role and the Night Porter must embody this whilst keeping to their own high standards.

You will work a base of 40 hours per week across 5 days but will need to have flexibility when the unexpected occurs. Shift patterns can be discussed at interview.

Salary: £8.00-£11.00 per hour
