Position Overview & Specifications
We are a well established supplier of cable management, pipe support and industrial fixings to the commercial Mechanical & Electrical contracting sectors.
We are seeking a candidate to join our warehouse staff at our location in London E3.
The chosen candidate should have a confident and conscientious approach to work and will have some previous experience of working within the retail environment for the Mechanical and Electrical or fixings sectors. This would include Electrical Wholesalers, Plumbers Merchants or Industrial Fixings Suppliers.
You will be part of a 5-6 man warehouse team and will be required to work closely with your warehouse colleagues as well as office staff and delivery drivers. You will be expected to perform the following varied array of tasks ;
- pick and pack orders for collection and delivery
- accept deliveries from our suppliers
- perform a goods inwards procedure checking quantities and quality
- put items into stock using our internal batch trace system
- have a basic standard of computer literacy
- serve customers that have pre-ordered on our collection counter
- operate a fork lift when required
- undertake a range of manual tasks including drilling, sawing and assembly of support bracketry when required to do so.
Training will be given in all tasks expected. Candidates should have previous fork lift experience and have a moderate technical ability.
The working week is 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £12.00-£13.90 per hour

Experience:
- Warehouse working: 1 year (required)
- Industrial Fixings/Anchors or Electrical Wholesale: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Fork Lift Licence from a previous employer (preferred)
