Hgv class 1 tramper

We are a busy haulage company based in Worsley, Manchester with openings for HGV Class 1 Trampers (we also have day and night work available - rates available on request).

We provide same-day, next-day or scheduled delivery services for general freight, as well as comprehensive logistics solutions, including the operation of customer-liveried vehicles.

Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic & conscientious full-time HGV Class 1 Tramper for our Manchester (Worsley) based operation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times

· General haulage deliveries

· Adhering to all Tachograph, Driver and Road Regulations

· Ensuring the vehicle is cleaned appropriately, and maintained in line with Company policy

· Completion of all legal and customer relevant paperwork

· Observe Company procedures and policies at all times

· Ensure the correct equipment and PPE, (personal protective equipment) is in good order and used at all times

· Ensure all delivery and on road issues are reported to the traffic office immediately

· Undertake all daily checks, ensuring defects are immediately reported and correct paperwork completed

Essential Criteria

• A valid clean HGV Class 1 licence (minor points considered)
• A digital tachograph card and full CPC
• Tramping experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving Class 1, newly qualified drivers/ lesser experienced drivers will be considered, however, conditions will apply
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
• Good geographical knowledge
• Excellent customer service
• Ability to work alternate weeks at 5 days or 6 days

Pay Rates:

PAYE (TRAMPERS)

£700 per week (inc nights out)

LTD (TRAMPERS)

£800 per week (inc nights out)
