Position Overview & Specifications
- Fulfil customer gatekeeping cases, following the process diligently and maintaining a high level of accuracy with regards to customer data and information across both ERP and CRM systems.
- Assure that all relevant checks and approvals are in place before processing case requests.
- Work on large data related tasks that revolve around customer data.
- Be committed to improving and creating processes and work instructions that further improve the quality and efficiency of work produced by the team.
- Immediate logging and resolution of critical problems with customer data, taking ownership of the problem and therefore assisting in the smooth running of the business.
- Provide adequate cover during office hours and be committed to ensuring that urgent deadlines are met, which may require the need for overtime.
- Be aware of and advise IT/Data Management of any issues that may affect the profile of the department or put its security at risk.
- Support others in the daily use of customer data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards.
- Troubleshoot data related problems and implement maintenance or modifications as required.
- Attend meetings, exhibitions, seminars and training courses when required.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
- Excellent understanding of data administration/population.
- Proficient in MS office, most specifically in Excel (minimum requirement intermediate level training complete, with a view to become advanced asap).
- JDE and Salesforce experience preferred.
- Able to work to a high level of detail, analytical approach to data and receptive to learning new software systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work with our internal customers to achieve the desired level of accuracy in our customer data.
- Able to review and prioritize cases according to guidance and business needs.
