Healthcare Assistant - Fertility - Harley Street, London - £25000 - £28500 per annum - Four day working week!

Currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join A Fantastic clinic located on Harley Street in London. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team; to support the smooth running of the fertility and gynaecology clinic.

Healthcare Assistant Responsibilities:

• Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature and pulse.

• Collect specimens, label and despatch to the outside laboratory (including phlebotomy) as per clinic SOPs Administer medication and treatments

under the guidance of healthcare professionals.

• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Be competent in basic life support and assist calmly in an emergency situation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Perform venepuncture, interpret and give blood results when necessary
• Follow infection control protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Assist with patient discharge and follow-up care.
• Attend and participate in training and educational programs as required.

Healthcare Assistant Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting.
• Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Meditex (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.
