Job Description – Digital Content Assistant | Area: Sales & Marketing | Reporting to: E-Commerce Manager
Responsibilities
· Aid in the creation and delivery of a coherent and impactful digital marketing plan in liaison with the E-Commerce Manager and wider team.
· Create and publish regular content for Hayloft’s social media channels, namely Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok.
· Assist in the creation and management of profitable paid social media campaigns.
· Produce consistent reports on social media activity and contribute towards using the information to aid future strategy.
· Liaise with in-house copywriters to create and publish relevant, engaging, search engine optimised written content for Hayloft’s website, including blog articles and gardening guides.
· Create engaging photography and video content to accompany social media, blog articles and email campaigns.
· Create engaging graphics for use across multiple platforms including social media, email campaigns and the website.
· Attend key industry shows and events such as RHS Malvern and BBC Gardeners World Live, ensuring that Hayloft maximises digital opportunities before, during and after each.
· Assist in website housekeeping including digital catalogue uploads, product image optimisation and internal content linking.
· Assist the wider team with ad-hoc marketing tasks as and when required.
Skills & Experience
· Well-rounded social media knowledge and experience working with the platforms in a professional capacity.
· Demonstratable ability to improve brand reach and engagement on social media.
· Proficient user of image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop.
· Proficient user of social media video creation software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva or similar).
· Experience liaising with internal teams to meet deadlines.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Excellent written English.
· Plant knowledge and an interest in gardening are advantageous but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- Pershore, WR10 3HB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Digital marketing: 1 year (preferred)
- Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
