Events Manager

Hawkstone Hall & Gardens is a magnificent grade 1 listed, newly refurbished hotel and events venue located in the rolling hills of Shropshire. Offering the perfect combination of English heritage and modern luxury, with natural beauty and charm. The 18th-century mansion houses 37 bedrooms, The Saloon Restaurant, Hill's Kitchen and 4 event spaces for 20-220 guests. We have recently completed our state of the art Gym and are in the process of constructing The Garden Spa which is due to open in Spring 2023.

We are currently looking for the right candidate to fill the position of Wedding & Events Manager. The role will primarily assist our Head of Events and team to deliver the requests of the Bride & Groom to ensure a smooth service.

The ideal candidate will be confident, courteous and professional, they will provide an efficient and organised service at all times. They will be personable, with an emphasis on creating memorable and unique experiences for our guests. The successful candidate will work within a team and be directly trained and managed by our Head of events.

Please note this role is operational.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

· Operation of weddings and events on the day, being hands-on where required.

· Assisting in managing a team of waiters and waitresses to ensure a high level of service for our couples and guests at all times.

· Working weekends and evenings where it meets the need of the business.

Essential Skills:

• 2+ years experience in a customer facing role within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent time management
• Computer literacy.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00 per year
