Medical Records Clerical Officer - Library

We are looking for a Medical Records Library Clerical Officer who can help deliver an efficient, high quality service. This role is essential in providing safe patient care by ensuring that patient’s health records are available when required.

One of our team members has said “I’ve cancelled my gym membership as I meet my 10,000 steps each day!”

Another said “This role is varied and I get out and about around the trust providing health records when they needed, contributing to patient care”

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties;

• Sorting physical health records into numerical order
• Filing physical health records in numerical order within the library
• Locating and retrieving physical health records from a bulk storage warehouse
• Delivery physical health records around the hospital site

This role provides a great insight into the NHS and requires excellent inter-personal skills when communicating with patients and members of staff at all levels within the Trust.
