Telephonist / Receptionist – Part Time

Job Summary

We currently have vacancy available for a telephonist/ receptionist within our GP surgery.

Given that the telephonist is typically the first point of call within the GP surgery it is crucial the candidate has a polite phone manner.

Liaising with patients is a massive part of the job and using your initiate will be vital.

As part of the recruitment process you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check payable by the applicant.

The vacancy is for part-time work, this may include occasional weekend work so please ensure you are fully flexible before applying for the position.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must have excellent computer skills initially, although full training of the system will be provided if successful. The applicant must be able to be proficient in typing and have excellent communication skills. Applicants speaking Punjabi is welcomed..

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

This will be for 21 hours per week - Monday to Friday 09.00 am - 12.00pm & Wednesday, Thursday and Tuesday 4.30 pm – 6.30pm You will need to be reliable, dedicated and flexible, with a commitment to delivering high quality care.

Salary: National Minimum Wage
