H.M. Raitt and Sons are a long-standing Main contractor who undertake High End renovation and new build work in Edinburgh and throughout the Lothians.

We pride ourselves in working closely with clients, designers and stakeholders alike to deliver high quality works.We’ve always understood that it’s “our people” that make our business.

We are currently seeking a time served and experienced joiner, who can work alone as well as part of a team.

Basic tools required but we will provide power tools and all other equipment which is required.

Experience as a time served joiners is essential.

The ideal candidate must;-

• have extensive joinery experience
• be able to be organised and diligent when reading architectural/structural/professional drawings and plans
• be able to work alone on a project using their own initiative or as part of the team
• be able to adapt quickly, calmly, and positively to changing priorities
• have good communication skills
• have a full driving licence (preferred)
• Be willing to spend time with apprentices and aid in development of next generation of tradesmen

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 1pm. Overtime will be offered as and when needed. Available for immediate start.
