Here at GXO we have recently implemented a new structure for our Drinks BU and are now on the lookout for a HR Advisor. Implementing new processes and setting high standards, this is a brand-new role where you have maximum opportunity to develop this role and make it your own.

We are on the lookout for a HR Advisor to join us at our Croydon site supporting our Drinks Business Unit. You’ll lead the on-site HR presence to provide efficient and effective support to the site team. This is a standalone role who will be the site lead in all people processes and support the delivery of the people plan.

This is a Permanent full time role working Monday to Friday however flexibility is required – this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Build harmonious relationships with any Trade Union to ensure optimum working efficiency
  • Provide full HR generalist support and advice to Managers and employees - ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relation issues is maintained to ensure the business area remains compliant and risk is mitigated
  • Take the lead on complex ER issues
  • Prepare and process letters, meeting minutes and other documents as and when required

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment dealing with ER and recruitment activity at the same / similar level
  • Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
  • Strong in systems; HRIS, Microsoft Office such as word and Excel
  • A self-motivated and flexible approach with the confidence to work both in a team and with minimal supervision
