Calling all Graphic Designers, fancy a career change? We’re looking for someone who is passionate about design with a strong interest in 3D Modelling; this may be a graduate from a relevant degree course looking for their first role or perhaps, someone already experienced in a drawing office looking for their next challenge and to learn a new market and skills.

Working within our Solutions Team you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality and informative visual content. Plus, many other perks such as a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme and our continued focus on internal promotions, over 51% last year

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Day-to-day you will be working in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment, with numerous projects of varying size and complexity live simultaneously. Being a relatively new function within the team, there is huge scope to shape the role and development further skills – e.g. animations or flythroughs
  • A large part of your role will be to bring layouts and operational concepts for both manual and automated warehouses to life with either 2D AutoCAD or 3D design and rendering. These designs will primarily be used as a presentation tool for new business proposals
  • You will assist us to improve 3D design and visualisation within our business and will help push our business development function to the next level and enable us to bring warehouse concepts to life
  • We need you to create visual process flows to be used in presentations, create 3D images to be used in the process flows and presentation slides whilst creating full 3D warehouse operation layouts

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • You will need to have a sense of accountability and take ownership of tasks once you start them – there’s a great chance to progress if you make an impression
  • A strong eye for detail, we’re dealing with contracts, so we need work to with pace, but accuracy is one of the most important things for us in the central team
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. You’ll be dealing with a range of stakeholders, so you need the ability to communicate with both senior and non-senior staff
