What we need

• Valid SIA Licence
• Full Driving Licence
• Excellent customer service and communication skills at all levels
• Experience working within a port environment
• Conversant with the ISPS Code and the specific requirements under DfT to meet this code
• Computer literate and confident with the use of Microsoft office programmes
• SIA CCTV Licence (desirable)
• First Aid Certificates (desirable)

Role

The duties involve (but are not limited):

• Communicate effectively across key stakeholders in a proactive, not reactive approach
• Report all incidences, accidents and near misses in line with Company policy/practice
• Monitor CCTV and respond to changes in environment and circumstances and report in a timely manner
• Respond to protestors at site in line with assignment instructions and site guidelines
• Undertake ISPS complaint patrols and searching during SOV days
• Liaise with and carry out tasks as described by the PFSO in relation to SOV days in accordance with ISPS and DfT legislation
• Work safely and be fully aware of the Company Health and Safety and Environmental’ systems, policies and procedures
