Grind is a retail and hospitality company that lives in London. Since opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, the brand has expanded across London, the UK and now, the USA.
Our aim is to get the whole world drinking delicious speciality coffee, sourced from environmentally and ethically sustainable producers, for a better than fair price.
The Grind roastery is a speciality roastery originally set up to serve Grind’s sites around central London. After 4 years we’re now managing a very fast-growing online retail business as well as supplying coffee to Soho House group worldwide and lots of other wholesale partners in the UK.
It’s now time for us to grow our roastery team to support the roasting, packing and dispatching of our products. We're looking for someone invested in learning more about coffee and what it takes to get our speciality coffee from bean to cup.
You will be in charge of supporting the roastery and production team in ensuring the packing and distribution of coffee orders is done in a timely and efficient manner. This will be a very hands-on job where you will be required to own the packing section in our distribution warehouse and liaise with our production managers.
The ideal candidate will need to:
Be extremely passionate about speciality coffeeBe Highly organised and have strong prioritisation skills
Enjoy working independently in addition to connecting with the wider team abroad
Be Energetic and very tenacious
Be someone with a can-do attitude and good problem solving skills
Be physically fit and strong
Responsibilities:
Working with our production team to fulfil wholesale and retail orders to our in-house and Soho House teams.
Maintaining good working order of packing and roasting equipment
Maintaining cleanliness of the production area
This is a great opportunity for someone keen to get into the world of coffee roasteries.
Though the job will be very production-based there will be lots of opportunities to learn about how we source and roast.
