Our clients include Unilever, PepsiCo, Danone, Nestle and Jaguar.

We have a rare and very exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Editor to lead the editorial teams across our EMEA markets, with specific experience in the Russian market!

Responsibilities:*

• Be the true guardian of the tone of voice for our editorial projects, ensuring the highest quality bar for all content, at all times
• Maintain high industry awareness in terms of the competitive set and content excellence
• Communicate with the client (global and local teams) to deliver performance reports
• Sound experience working with SEO teams and driving SEO initiatives through ‘performance led’ content creation and strategy
• Provide consumer insights across the EMEA markets for the beauty, food and wellness industries, particularly in the Russian market
• Bring bags of ideas and learnings of rolling out new content streams and ideas
• Push a culture of creativity and positive mindset within the team
• Maintain a Wordpress website, including writing and overseeing a high volume of written content
• Translate and localise content in English to Russian on a monthly basis for our Russian projects
• Work with the studio to create videos and other social assets to help content be seen and rank on Google and YouTube
• Manage a team of two writers, and a network of freelancers and influencers
• Collaborate with the GPC Global team and Unilever client on calendar planning, SEO and technical guidelines and execution, and content production
• Implement, evaluate, and grow the content strategy for our editorial platforms, ensuring targets and KPIs are delivered across the market

Required skills and experience:

• 3-5 years’ managing, writing and editing experience for a digital publisher and/ or brand site
• Experience ‘up managing’ and presenting / reporting to clients and senior managers
• Fluency in Russian and able to effectively communicate in Russian both verbally and in writing
• Background in digital media and a wide vision of the beauty, food, and wellbeing industries
• Expertise of the Russian market and key competitors to our clients
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, leading a team of content editors/producers
• Juggling multiple workstreams and meeting client expectations
• A sound understanding of (and experience working in) SEO
• Good knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, Google Analytics, SEMrush amongst others
• Inbound marketing expertise (content marketing and SEO) is desirable
• YouTube analytics and content creation experience is also desirable
