Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for a Nursing Associate role to Join the Plastics Clinical Nurse Specialist Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust.
The job is patient focused, front of house, within a challenging environment. The role is to provide clinical care and support to the children and their families in an outpatient and inpatient setting within the Trust.
The main duties of this role involve a range of clinical and administrative tasks. These include:
- Setting up consultation rooms
- Preparing patients by taking measurements, obtaining specimens and recording vital signs prior to their outpatient consultation/theatres
- Communicating with the child, families and multidisciplinary team
- Phlebotomy skills
- Computer skills
