Workshop Technician with CNC experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Aid staff and be the first point of contact for learners using XYZ CNC lathe and milling machines in addition to manual machines
• Maintaining a safe and efficient workshop, ensuring compliance, maintenance and servicing of machines is kept up to date, and keep stock of consumables and material supplies
• To keep technical knowledge up to date in the safe operation of manual and XYZ CNC machines

About you:

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
• Hold a CNC Miller/Lathe operator certification
• Be able to interpret CAD drawings
• Proven track record of working in a relevant role

The successful candidate must go through First Responder training and undertake the duties. Upon completion of training, you will receive an additional £50 per month.

Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to a start date before 1st February).
