Gough and Kelly, an NSI Gold company, is a premier provider of security products and services and has served the north of England for over three decades.
We now have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Security Engineer to join the team in Leeds, to assist in the installation, service, and maintenance of security systems at various sites, and to apply learning from both academic and practical information.
The position:
- Permanent, full-time
- 40 hours per week
- To undertake the City & Guilds; Level 3 Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Technician apprenticeship at Bradford College (candidates would be required to make own way to/from college once a week)

Main duties:
- To assist the engineers in the installation, service and maintenance of CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems.
- To meet with clients and ensure first-class service when on-site.
- To complete company paperwork accurately and to complete timesheets within the required time frame.
- To take responsibility for applying all college learning to your role, and to understand the combination of academic and practical elements of security engineering.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be driven and willing to learn
- Possess excellent customer service skills and experience
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be willing and flexible to travel
- Be reliable and punctual
- Possess a UK driving licence
