Position Overview & Specifications
Experienced part-time travel consultant required for a well-established (29 years), independent travel agency in Northampton.
The role is office based, with face to face enquiries as well as by email and telephone and you would be working within a small team. Every day and every enquiry is different, so we are looking for someone who would enjoy working with the range of products only an independent travel agency can offer and seeing a booking through from start to finish from booking stage to welcome home.
We offer a wide range of holidays to our clients, from traditional package holidays to tailor-made worldwide itineraries, as well as cruises, coach holidays and much more. As an agency we have never set individual targets as we all work as a team and prefer to find the right holiday for our clients rather than sell one particular product over another.
Experience within a UK travel agency is essential and candidates without the relevant experience will not be considered. However, we would consider someone looking to return to the travel industry rather than immediate experience. Our current working hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm and Saturday 10am - 2pm and we are ideally looking for someone to work approximately 3 days per week including some Saturdays and holiday cover.
If you think this sounds like the right role for you, then please get in touch.
