Junior Creative Team - Golley Slater

Golley Slater are looking for a Junior Creative team (Graduate Art Director and Graduate Copywriter) to join their expanding creative department. If you can come up with big conceptual ideas that make people think, laugh, or change their behaviour, then you’re the people they're looking for.

Whether you’re fresh out of college or got a year or two under your belt, if you’re a young, fresh creative team full of ideas, we want to hear from you. But you can also apply as an individual Art Director or Copywriter and we’ll pair the best candidates together to conceive, develop and produce effective campaigns that work across TV, Radio, Out of home, Social, Digital, Experiential and Brand.

If you’re an Art Director, we expect to see some great visuals. While this isn’t a graphic design role, we want to see how you bring ideas to life through hand drawn scamps, Photoshop and layout. We’re not expecting to see a full brand identity or beautifully edited film – if you have those skills, then great. But this role is about ideas.

If you’re a Copywriter, it’s all about the words and big ideas. We want to see how your ideas work and flex across different media channels, expressed as headlines, tweets, scripts and more. And while not mandatory, Welsh would be a massive bonus.

Based in Cardiff, we’re known for big behaviour change campaigns and as such you’ll get to work on the big briefs that affect society for good. But we also have a number of commercial clients, so you could be promoting a change to organ donation legislation one day, zip line experiences another and launching a new vehicle after that.

We’ve adopted a hybrid working model, meaning you can choose to work where you are most productive. But as junior members of the team you will be expected to spend most of your time in the office to learn from senior members of the team and we have a fantastic city centre office in the heart of vibrant Cardiff.
