The New Deanery is a 93-bedroom care home set on glorious six-acre grounds, situated in Braintree. The home provides a safe and comfortable ‘home away from home' environment and combines this with high-quality care for its residents, with engaging lifestyle activities.

There is a significant emphasis on motivating people to maintain their self-worth, independence, and mobility. For elderly adults who are physically fragile, the well-kept grounds, easily accessible gardens, and range of quiet spaces make this home an ideal location. Our residents and visitors may even spot one of the 6 wonderful and friendly peacocks that live on the grounds.

What does the role involve?

• Personal care – assisting with washing and dressing
• Assisting with meals by supporting with eating and drinking
• Completing daily care plans
• Assisting with mobility
