Campervan Technician and Converter

GOAT Roadtrip build, sell and rent out campervans and motorhomes. We are a small team but are experiencing rapid growth as our fleet size increases and we start converting our own campervans. This is a very varied role with two elements - maintaining vehicles, and converting campervans. Mechanic experience and/or experience in maintaining or building motorhomes/campervans/caravans is highly desirable. If not, then a clear interest and experience in DIY, carpentry and hands on work is essential. The role will involve valeting, fixing leisure systems onboard the vehicles and conducting habitation checks. For the campervan conversion element of the job, you will receive full training to be able to fully convert a campervan. There will also be the opportunity to do courses through the NCC and gain qualifications and accreditation. The factory is located in Batley and the depot is located in Kirkstall. The successful candidate will be expected to travel between sites and may work in more customer facing roles if they show aptitude and interest in the rental and sales side of the business.

The job is 5 days a week with variable hours between 0800 and 1800. You will be paid between £20,000 and £24,000 per year depending on experience, receive 31 days of paid holiday per year and have access to rent our vehicles for free.
