Phlebotomist

We are Go2Clinic Limited, experts in the collections of Cord Blood Stem Cells from the placenta of the new born in the UK.

This is a fascinating role that can enable you work as a mobile collector where you can attend hospitals and home births around you and enjoy a decent salary.

When you get close to the due date of your clients delivery, you should have your mobile phone handy. When labour starts until the birth of the baby you will be on call and the more collections you complete the more income you will have.

The task is very simple. After a baby is born, you will be given the placenta and all you have to do is to make sure a sample of Cord blood and tissue is collected from that placenta. You will then obtain a blood sample from the mother and finish the collection. You will always work as part of a team and for every client you get you will have a colleague acting as your back up. Full training available for successful candidates.

We pay £100 per collection plus £10 travel allowance for hospitals within 25 miles of your home address. Full mileage at (40p per mile) will be paid for hospitals beyond 25 Miles. We also pay waiting time excess of £10 per hour as well, terms and conditions apply. No taxes will be deducted from your wages as you will contract with us as a self employed Phlebotomist. Jobs are allocated to phlebotomists as a first come first served basis. The more availability you show the more jobs you can expect to get.

Requirements:

Experience and competency level in venipuncture

Hepatitis B immunisation record

DBS (formerly known as CRB)

UK visa and work permit
