Gloucester Rugby, formed in 1873, are a Premiership rugby team based at Kingsholm Stadium in the city of Gloucester. We are looking for a skilled, creative Junior Designer to help us become the most recognised rugby team in the UK, and beyond.
We are looking for someone who matches our dedication to producing high quality design; artwork that reflects our brand as authentic, modern, and dynamic.
As our Junior Designer, you will be tasked with delivering internal artwork requirements, covering all facets of the business including Gloucester Rugby senior men, Gloucester-Hartpury Women's team, Kingsholm Stadium, sponsorship, community rugby and foundation. You will need to create a range of design assets including season campaign look and feel, infographics, decks and sales materials, for use across various acquisition and retention projects.
The role sits in the Marketing & Communications Team, part of the Commercial Department, who have overall responsibility for the delivery and execution of all marketing and communications for the Club.
· Design compelling and innovative artwork based on the brief
· Deliver consistency across all designs ensuring all work delivers against Gloucester Rugby guidelines
· Uphold the high standards of our brand across the business, acting as our ‘brand guardian’
· Ensure designs are adapted and optimised for the appropriate channel including social media, in-stadia branding and out-of-home advertising
· Effectively manage project timelines and keep stakeholders updated on projects
· Keep abreast of best design practices and promotional trends
· Any other task reasonably requested by the management of Gloucester Rugby
We are looking for...
Essential
· Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
· A strong creative portfolio
· A creative mind with the ability to produce high-quality and imaginative designs
· Abilities in both digital and print based design
· A passion for brand and design
· Excellent understanding of design principles
Desirable
· Strong understanding of rugby union
· Formal training in design
Full driving license and own vehicle
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
