MACHINE OPERATIVE - EDGEBANDER

£11.50- £13.00 per hour D.O.E

gap personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client, a kitchen manufacturer, based in Sherburn-in-Elmet LS25

The role requires previous experience operating an Edgeband machine in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Shifts: Monday to Friday 8.00- 4.30pm during training period.

6-2pm/ 2-10pm rotating weekly after training.

Pay Rate: £11.50 - £13.00 per hour dependant on experience.

Main Duties:

• Operating a machinery - Edgeband - IMA, MIESSE, HOMAG
• Feeding materials into the machine - wood panels
• Monitoring for quality
• Manage auto and manual infeed operations
• Work in line with Helath & Safety procedures and SSOWs

Skills Required:

• Experience operating edgeband machinery
• Background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work under pressure
• Capability to manage own workload & prioritise effectively
• Excellent attention to detail & quality
