metallurgical engineer

G-Tec Plumbing & Heating are currently seeking a Skilled Plumbing and heating engineer to join our growing team, covering Greater Manchester and Manchester City centre site works.

The Job:

The successful Candidate will be part of carrying out an installation on one of Manchesters new and modern restaurants located in a commercial multi-story new building. Reporting to the head engineer, the candidate must carry out all work to an exceptionally high standard with minimum supervision.

We provide tools, uniform and PPE.

The following criteria is looked for in a candidate:

Essential Criteria:

• Full UK driving licence
• Great personality and communication skills
• Pro-active when resolving problems
• ACS desirable however not essential
• City and guilds in plumbing & heating NVQ 2-3
• CSCS required
• Plumbing experience is a must

G-Tec plumbing is an established company with a reputation for high standards when carrying out small to large commercial contracts.

This work is a temporary contract with a view being to being permanent.

Job Type: Temp to perm

Salary: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

Education:

• Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:

• Plumbing installation: 3 years (preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day shift (preferred)
