General Warehouse Operative

Job description

G Decor is a fast-growing e-Commerce company, specializing in selling homeware in the UK. The company is based at Motorway Trading Estate, Aston in Birmingham B6. We are looking for passionate and hardworking individuals that are able to commit to long-term work.

In this role, you will be guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours of work per week, spread over five days each week. Working time 8AM to 4PM including 30 minutes paid lunch break.

About the Role:

The ideal Warehouse Operative:

· Committed reliable and available to work full-time hours

· Great team player, energetic, dependable, punctual, and has a good eye for details as we do manual picking and packing without scanners

· Experience is preferred, full training provided

· Take pride in what you do and are looking to take your career to the next level or learn lasting life skills

What does a Warehouse Operative do:

· Picking & packing goods ready for delivery, manual picking and packing as well as through software

· Loading & unloading goods

· Putting goods away

· Manual handling

· General warehouse duties

· General up-keep of workspace, keeping it to the highest hygiene standard

· General warehousing duties including sweeping & tidying work areas

· Adhere to all site Health and Safety policies and procedures
