We are seeking a dynamic, energetic retail sales assistant to join our furniture and homewares team. In this position, you will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service experiences on a daily basis. Confidence is key as you will proactively approach customers, interact with them and be happy to share your opinion to help them make the right decisions.
Role Details
Location: Magherafelt, Cookstown
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: TBC / Dependent on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
· Greet customers and make them feel welcome
· Be attentive to customers and establish positive relationships
· Make recommendations based on the customer requirements
· Assist with placement of new products, including new in-store or window displays
· General day to day housekeeping duties
· Liaise with the warehouse team to check stock levels and order confirmations
· Ensure customers are well-informed on any current sales and the store return policy
· Process payment by using cash register and credit card machines
Qualifications and Requirements
· At least 2 years previous retail experience
· Hold a full driving licence and able to travel between stores – Magherafelt, Cookstown
· Available to work flexibly and at the weekends
· Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills
