The Person:

The successful candidate will be process driven and have a thirst to learn about the ever changing out of home media channel landscape. As a Media Planning Assistant, you will combine creative thinking with factual analysis and media channel product knowledge to create campaign strategies that meet client objectives and deliver results.

The Role:

● You’ll be a key player within the Forward And Thinking team, working alongside media channel experts and our client obsessed sales team to fully understand client objectives and their marketing strategies.

● Media planning: understanding the buying process across the full media channel mix, cross examining briefs, requesting availability schedules and drawing on industry insight data, to produce campaigns that maximize impact and achieve results.

● You’ll need to be comfortable working independently on briefs for a range of clients, week on week and working to short deadlines.

● Adaptable with well-considered decision-making skills, always taking into account the benefits of each media channel, allotted budget, audience targeting, and overall campaign aims.

● Learn how to efficiently utilise industry insight tools to aid rationale and apply logic throughout the whole campaign planning process – pre, mid and post planning to conduct thorough campaign evaluations.

● Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.

● Attention to detail and precision is a must when budgeting, flighting media channels and compiling presentation documents.

Requirements:

● Proactive, adaptable & organised approach to accomplishing tasks.

● Committed to delivering the best possible results for clients.

● Strong English language and written communication skills.

● A ‘can do’ attitude – You will work across a large array of sectors and briefs, so enthusiasm and willingness to adapt is a must.

● Basic experience of marketing and working in a client or customer facing role.

● Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Gmail.
