Plant Operator / Groundworker

About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Groundworker to join our expanding construction company, working on sites up and down the country.
The successful candidate will be flexible, self-motivated and take pride in delivering quality on our multi-disciplined projects.
Responsibilities
The work will involve:
· Plant operation
· Demolition
· Strip-out
· Kerbing
· Drainage
· Concreting
· Masonry
· Paving
What you will need to succeed
Qualifications & Experience
· Previous plant operation experience on excavators essential
· Asbestos Awareness
· Valid CSCS Card
· Experience as a groundworker
· Commercial site experience essential
Individual Requirements
· Ability to follow all H&S guidelines
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· The ability to work well under pressure, and as part of a team
· Ability to undertake site measurements
· Ability to work on own initiative and with the minimum of supervision
· Full driving licence
· Must be reliable, committed and able to provide references
The ideal candidate must be flexible with working away during the week (return home Friday) as sites are nationwide; ideally applicant to reside within a commutable distance from the offices in Chester

Salary: £20-25 per hour dependent on skills and experience.
