Waiter/Waitress

We are an award-winning events caterer, FoodbyDish, with over 25 years of experience catering across some of London's most prestigious venues. We are proud to partner with Thames Luxury Charters to create unique and unforgettable events on the River Thames. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated waiter/ess to join our team.

You will be working at one of London's most unique venues, onboard Thames Luxury Charters fleet. We have various shifts available across TLC's three vessels, events can vary from small and intimate fine dining, student parties to large music events.

Contract: Part time/ Zero hours - up to 40 hours a week

As a Waiter/Waitress you will be responsible for the following duties:

• To ensure the appropriate presentation and cleanliness of dining areas
• Ensure that mise en place levels are kept to standards
• Meet and greet guests in a professional and efficient manner
• Serve food and beverages
• Clear and reset tables
• Set-up and operation of service areas
• To handle guest comments and complaints in the appropriate manner
• To perform all cashier-related duties according to company policies whilst ensuring that guests receive excellent service
• Monitoring and replenishing stock levels as needed
• Wish “Farewell” to all guests

Successful candidates must have the following:

• A flexible approach to working weekdays, evenings, and weekends is a must
• Outgoing, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
• The ability to communicate in English with both guests and colleagues in a proficient manner
• Attention to detail
• Smart appearance
• An ability to stand for long periods of time and to assist with moving stock and equipment
• Be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 0-40 per week

Salary: £12.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Full Service Servers: 1 year (preferred)
